Lana Zapel has 23+ years’ experience designing/managing/supervising construction projects, including gold mine infrastructure, oil and gas industry, airfields/runways, roads, parking lots, buildings, water supply/drainage, and structural concrete and asphalt pavement. Lana Zapel has 23+ years’ experience in quality control, data analysis, operations management. She was a City District Manager for housing district (6000 people); supervised operation of municipal urban infrastructure, including housing complexes, utility systems, construction projects, financial management. She has 15+ years in project controls management, earned-value analysis, critical path method (CPM) scheduling, estimating, and bid preparation. She has an extensive practical knowledge of Canadian laws and regulations, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Canadian Standards Association (CSA). Lana Zapel led and contributed to the successful completion of numerous urban and industrial design/build projects, incorporating creativity and value engineering. She performed design and execution of civil projects for country, municipal, districts development, military reservations, and airfields facilities. She is a certified Concrete Field Testing Technician ACI (American Concrete Institute).
